Volnay's red wines, renowned for their unique combination of finesse, subtlety and silky, velvety mouthfeel, are among Burgundy's finest. They have always been among the Delaunay family's favorites. For the Maison Edouard Delaunay, making and presenting a fine Volnay, rich in all the qualities of its appellation, was an unavoidable exercise.

Appearance
The color is a lovely fresh red.
Aroma
The expressive, spicy, slightly peppery nose reveals delicate aromas of raspberry, cherry pie and clafouti. It is rounded out by floral scents reminiscent of peony.
