With this cuvée, we put all our Châteauneuvois expertise into producing a prestigious organic Côtes-du-Rhône. VIRIDI, Latin for "verdant", pays tribute to our expertise in organic viticulture, and to this cuvée's luscious fruit and roundness. Malolactic fermentation is followed by 12 months' ageing in concrete vats, developing a lovely roundness.

Opens with aromas of red fruits such as raspberries, licorice and a hint of cut herbs.

Taste
Fruity, round and fresh on the palate. Notes of strawberry jam and undergrowth, typical of Grenache, are perfectly balanced with the natural side (fresh herbs, flowers) and the finish is long and fresh.

Côtes-du-Rhône
The appellation Côtes-du-Rhône is part of the region of Vallée du Rhône from France which include Maison Brotte - Sélection and its 20 cuvées. Spread over The Rhone Valley and its rich, complex terroirs. The region is divided into two distinct subregions: Northern Rhone (known as Rhône Septentrional) and Southern Rhone (Rhône Méridional). In the former we find strong wines in beautiful colours with warm, spicy notes, produced by vineyards that stretch 4,700 ha along the Rhone. The latter, with an area of 71,000 ha, is much more important, and this is evident of course in its annual production of red, rosé and white wines quite unlike those of the Northern Rhone., this region is 3 million hectolitres per year of red wines, rosés, dry and sparkling white wines, and natural sweet wine..
