In a few words ...

This wine was created in 1992 as the second wine of Château Valandraud. In 1997, it became a cuvée in its own right, made from specific parcels within the Château. It then benefited from the extension of the vineyards owned by the Thunevins in the St Emilion Grand Cru appellation, following the acquisition of "Clos Badon" in St Emilion in 1998, "Bel-Air Ouÿ" in St Etienne de Lisse in 1999 and "Prieuré Lescours" in St Sulpice de Faleyrens in 2001. It is now made from parcels selected from this group under the direction of Murielle Arnaud and with the support of renowned oenologists Michel Rolland and Jean-Philippe Fort. Cultivation and vinification methods are the same as those used for "Château Valandraud".
