The Viré-Clessé appellation is the latest of the Mâconnais' communal appellations. The wine is made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes. Annual production is 12,000 hl. The vineyards are planted on a predominantly limestone soil found on the slopes, mostly facing east and occasionally west. Silty-sandy clays are found at the top of the hillside. Altitudes range from 250 to 300 m.

Attractive pale yellow color with straw highlights.
Aroma
Dominantly fruity, fine and intense, its nose reveals a hint of lemon, mango and subtle floral aromas such as rose.
