Color: bright raspberry pink with blue-violet highlights Smell: seductive bouquet of sweet red berries and fine notes of maraschino cherries Mouth: juicy on the palate, aromatically intense and fresh, absolutely pleasant to drink, with a delicious balance of acidity and sweetness, a perceptible character of origin and a long finish the merlot and tempranillo grapes for viñas del vero rosado were harvested at optimum ripeness in early September, the merlot in the first week of September and the tempranillo in the second. Thanks to the close proximity of the vineyard and the winery, the grapes were immediately crushed and then cold-macerated to concentrate, before fermentation, a maximum of intense color pigments as well as the first aromas and phenols from the berry skins. The free-flowing musts were collected and sent to the fermenters, where cellar master josé ferrer allowed them to ferment very slowly at cool, controlled temperatures of around 16°c.
