The domaine / the house / the cellar:
the philosophy of the domaine pierre amadieu is simple: to produce fruity, supple and elegant wines - not over-extracted as can be the case with so many rhône wines. This white Rhone comes from old Clairette vines, making it a rare wine. It is vinified in new barrels and aged on lees for 6 months.
the wine:it expresses all its freshness and reveals all its smoothness. On the palate, aromas of white-fleshed fruit (pear, apple), and white flowers (acacia) express all their flavors. On the finish, grapefruit and lemon notes reveal all their aromas. This is a lively wine, with plenty of roundness and vivacity.
aging and food pairing:it can be enjoyed now, or kept for another 3 to 5 years. Its balance and complexity make it an excellent wine as an aperitif, or with fish in white sauce.
