Terms & Conditions - Gift Card

These general conditions of sale govern the conditions of use of TWIL gift cards (physical or dematerialized) issued and distributed by TWIL to non-commercial individuals.

Article 1 - object

The purpose of these T & Cs is to define the terms and conditions under which TWIL offers for sale the Gift Cards (hereinafter referred to as the "Gift Card") within the https://www.twil.fr website, allowing its holder to acquire one or more product (s) online on the Site.

Article 2 - Purchase of the Card

The Gift Card can only be purchased by a natural person. TWIL confirms that the Customer's order is taken into account by sending an order acknowledgment e-mail. The sale will not be concluded until this confirmation. TWIL therefore invites the Customer to consult his e-mail.

TWIL reserves the right not to confirm the order, particularly but not exclusively, in case of non-payment of a previous delivery or payment dispute. In the event that the Customer does not receive this acknowledgment of receipt of the order, it is incumbent upon him to contact the TWIL customer service department on +33 (0) 1 84 60 60 44.

In no event shall TWIL's liability be withheld if the Customer does not receive this acknowledgment of receipt of the order due to an error made by him in the entry of his contact details and in particular his e-mail address.

Orders placed with TWIL are firm and final as of their validation. They can not give rise to refund or be canceled except in the cases provided for in article 3 - conditions of withdrawal below.

The amount is charged within a maximum of 12 hours after the sale. The TWIL Gift Card can not be used before this time. The delay is however less than 15 minutes on average.

Attention, a Gift Card can not be used for the purchase of other gift cards. Promotional codes are not usable either for the purchase of gift cards.

Article 3 - Conditions of withdrawal

In accordance with the provisions of Article L121-20-12 of the Consumer Code, the Customer has a legal period of 14 days to cancel the purchase. It will be refunded within 15 days upon receipt of its written confirmation, by simple letter with acknowledgment of receipt or by email.

The refund will be made by crediting the sums on the credit card used for payment, or by bank transfer to the Customer's bank account, within 30 days at the latest from the date of receipt of the withdrawal request.
After 14 days, the Gift Card can not be refunded, regardless of the reason.

Article 4 - Validity of the Card

Any Gift Card purchased is valid for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.
At the end of the validity period, the Gift Card can no longer be used. The remaining balance on the Gift Card will be lost. The Gift Card will not be renewed or exchanged.

Conditions of extension of validity period: in case of non-use of the gift card during its validity period, it is possible to extend validity by 12 months by paying a lump sum of € 15. This request must be made within 6 months of the end of the validity period.

 Article 5 - Use of the Card

The Gift Card can only be used by a natural person.
There are two types of gift cards: the hardware gift card and the dematerialized gift card. The conditions of use of these two types of gift cards are identical.
The TWIL gift card can be used on the Site, one or more times during its validity, and within the limit of its loading.
The payment may be supplemented by another means of payment accepted by TWIL.
Up to five Gift Cards are accepted per order up to a limit of 1000 € for all gift cards.

ATTENTION: if the desired reservation is less than the value of the gift card, TWIL will not refund the difference. This balance may eventually be accepted for another TWIL order.

For the balance of the Card, the Beneficiary can go to the Gift Card area on the Website or contact TWIL Customer Service on +33 (0) 1 84 60 60 44.

In case of return of all or part of the order paid in whole or in part with the Gift Card, the refund will be made on the Gift Card which will be automatically re-credited the amount of the returned item, within the limit of the amount initially paid by the same means of payment.

It is important for the Beneficiary to keep the Gift Card during the withdrawal period. In the event that the validity period of the Gift Card has expired at the time of the refund, the latter will be made
