"originality and subtlety. This rum owes its name to its color, gradually acquired through the absorption of tannin during its 12 to 15 months of ageing in wood. Straw-yellow in color with light golden highlights, it is characterized by a harmonious blend of the evolved notes of vesou rum (candied fruit, honey and licorice) and those of oak barrel ageing (lightly woody vanilla). A unique speciality, it is particularly appreciated by women for its smoothness and finesse of taste, and is easily enjoyed in cocktails or as a "soft" variant of ti'punch."
