This whiskey comes from a rye brew to which a blend of "petit grains" is added to complement the character conferred by 8 years in new American oak barrels. Unlike traditional tennessee whiskey, the "lincoln county" process is not used for this whiskey, allowing it to develop the spicy aromas typical of rye.
