With this first instalment, the Kavalan distillery team has returned to the formula that made Distillery Select so successful in Europe: a delicate, gourmet whisky to satisfy whisky lovers and connoisseurs alike. With Kavalan's characteristic fruity sweetness, Distillery Select No. 1 has been aged in quality casks, mainly sherry, to reveal rich pastry, chocolate, salted butter caramel and vanilla notes that intensify in a long, full-bodied finish. Enjoyed in cocktails, this single malt also offers an extremely pleasant experience served neat or on the rocks.

Aroma
Elegant, soft nose with aromas of yellow-fleshed fruit and caramel.
Taste
Unctuous, smooth palate with notes of caramel, apple, pear and vanilla. Long, full-bodied, slightly spicy finish.
