A liqueur is a spirit drink produced by flavoring a neutral alcohol and adding sugar. This flavoring is done with various products such as plants, fruits, etc.. There are two main different flavoring processes to make a liqueur: maceration or infusion. Furthermore, liqueurs with a high sugar content are called "creams". This is to be dissociated from the "cream liqueurs" where we added to the liqueur, a product of dairy origin to give it a thicker texture.
