Deep red fruit, rum pot, spices, great wine with lots of potential the old newcomer, cims de porrera, has become a cult wine after more than 15 years. Apart from the hermitage of alvaro palacios, which set the standard for prices, no other wine has had such an impact on the development of the priorat as cims. Porerra itself is a high-altitude village in the most inhospitable part of the Priorat. It boasts the best and oldest vineyards on the surrounding hilltops, which reach altitudes of up to 1,000 meters. University professor josé luis pérez, after initiating the so-called miracle of the priorat with four friends, launched a project in porrera to stem the rural exodus and save the ancestral vineyards from ruin. Since then, winegrowers from the local cooperativa, integrated into the project, have been cultivating the steeply terraced vineyards according to strict instructions and very precise guidelines. A few years ago, the professor passed the project on to his youngest son, Adria, who is at least as enthusiastic. Adria pérez has taken the cims de porrera style to a new level of elegance and finesse. The vines, some of which are over 100 years old, still only produce an incredible 5 hl/ha, or around 200 grams per vine, which is probably one of the lowest yields in the world. One of the particularities of cim has always been that it is made almost exclusively from cariñena, with small amounts of garnacha. It's rare to find a wine of such intensity - cims is not a lump, but a wonderfully refined, extremely elegant wine of great authenticity. As a 'second wine', vi de vila is made from a selection of cariñena and garnacha and is an excellent entry variant into the sphere of first-class Priorat wines. Allergene:enthält sulfite
