In a few words ...

La do mentrida, located between madrid and toledo, has become world-famous thanks to the work of the jiménez-landi cousins. The altitude, combined with a Mediterranean climate, produces quality wines. The friendly winegrower josé benavides jiménez-landi organically farms the 15 hectares of the bajondillo parcel, located between 550 and 600 meters above sea level. The remaining 5 hectares are strictly biodynamic. They are located at altitudes of up to 850m. The wine is aged in 500- and 3,000-liter barrels, as the winemaker refuses to allow wood to dominate his wines. Plots have yields of just 10 hl/ha. The result is very elegant wines.
