In a few words ...

Top of the range... A well-balanced wine... Our Clos Rousseau is made from 3 parcels whose vines are all over thirty years old: Les Fourneaux (planted in 1914), Grand Clos Rousseau (1980), Petit Clos Rousseau (1955). Vinification: Cold pre-fermentation maceration (5 days), alcoholic fermentation (13 days), post-fermentation maceration (6 days). Ageing: 14 months' hot racking: 12 in barrels on lees without racking, then 2 in vats. 100% in oak barrels, 30% of which are new.
