In a few words ...
This 100% Chardonnay, barrel-aged cuvée has a bright, limpid golden yellow color. On the nose, aromas of dried apricot, white fruit such as peach, and acacia blossom rub shoulders with present but very fine woody notes of toast and vanilla. On the palate, the attack is greedy and continues with power, plenty of roundness, to finish on a warm note. The finish is highly aromatic, with a spicier woodiness and the same ripe, yellow-fleshed fruit. The aromatic persistence is exceptional, on dried apricot and toasted almond.
