This cru, considered the family's historic property, was to be the origin of henri martin's passion for wine.a 5-hectare vineyard, with an average age of 30 years, located in the heart of the saint-julien appellation between chateau beychevelle and chateau gloria, hence its historic name;

Dense, dark garnet color, drawing on purple in its youth.

The nose reveals notes of violet and empyreumatic like wood, roasting, vanilla ... In aging, the wine will reveal very high quality game or truffle aromas.
