Surrounded by the Alps, northeastern Italy is home to one of Italy's best-known wine-growing regions: the Piedmont. Great names such as Barolo and Barbaresco, made from the nebbiolo grape, come from this region, which is characterized by limestone and clay weathering soils. The roots of the arneis grape are thought to date back to the 15th century. For a long time, this grape variety was grown only in the foothills and used mainly as a blending wine. Since the 1990s, however, the variety has enjoyed a boom and is increasingly being vinified as a single variety. Winegrowers consider it a rather difficult variety. It typically produces wines with low acidity and exotic fruit aromas. Wine characteristics: bright yellow, very fruity notes of citrus, pineapple . floral notes, such as lime blossom, and also grassy green notes. Very well-balanced, with fresh acidity and a very long, mineral finish. Residual sugar:2.00 / acidity:5.40stainless steel vat allergene:enthält sulfite
