Our plot of Grand Cru Schoenenbourg planted in 1997 provided its first grapes for the grand appellation in 2015. Exposed on the southeastern slope of the Schoenenbourg hillside, our vines are at an altitude of 280 m with a slight slope. On a limestone marl soil that retains water, we create a Riesling of great aromatic complexity. In the vineyard, there is total natural grass cover; we carry out double Guyot pruning, leaving 5 eyes per shoot. The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand by a regional regional team.
Appearance
Beautiful yellow color.
Taste
A mellow wine with tangerine and licorice aromas, this cuvée has great aromatic complexity thanks to its structure and salinity.
