The story of La Durbane is one of passion for Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Several decades ago, Jean-Louis Giornal honed his craft under the guidance of his friend François Perrin, from the renowned Château de Beaucastel, who taught him the winemaking process at his Grand Prébois estate.

In 2019, his daughter Florence and her husband Thomas took over the reins of La Durbane, transitioning from careers as chemists to becoming passionate winemakers with a focus on environmental sustainability. "Our goal for the future is to continue learning with the Perrin family."
