Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné was founded in 1834 on the hill of Hermitage, part of the commune of Tain l'Hermitage. After being taken over by the Frey family in 2006, it has retained its authenticity and continued to produce prestigious cuvées, including the Chapelle de l'Hermitage.

Today, Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné is run by Caroline Frey, a passionate and talented oenologist and winemaker. Its wines are red or white and belong to the Saint Joseph, Hermitage, Crozes Hermitage, Cornas, Châteauneuf du Pape, Côte Rôtie, Condrieu and Muscat de Beaumes de Venise appellations.
