In a few words ...
The Pouilly-Vinzelles appellation was recognized in 1940. It shares with Chaintré (a neighbor of Pouilly-Fuissé), the steep, east-facing hillside that proudly overlooks the Saône and Bresse. Known and renowned since Roman times, the Vincella (small vine) has retained its specific characteristics of the cru we know today. From the very beginnings of the appellation, Maison Ferraud has played a key role essential role in promoting it.
