As soon as the slope steepens, to the south of Mâcon, around Vergisson and Solutré, the Pouilly Fuissé vineyard, on Jurassic clay-limestone soils, completely covers the steep slopes. Geographical area: the communes of Fuissé, Pouilly, Solutré, Vergisson and Chaintré, where the vineyards occupy small sloping cirques oriented East/South-East, between 250 and 350 m in altitude. Maison Louis Jadot produces a Pouilly Fuissé with a golden-green color, full of finesse and distinction. The nature of the terrain favors harmonious development of the grape variety's aromas, with nuances of hazelnut and toasted almond, grapefruit and lemon.
