Color: deep ruby red with garnet highlights Smell: classic 'ruby bouquet' with dense aromas of black fruits (blackberries, blackcurrants, elderberries, plums, cherries) and a hint of spice Taste: juicy and full-bodied with excellent structure and exuberant fruit, powerful with good length the grapes used for the base wines of this fine ruby port come from the upper Douro valley (baixo corgo and cima corgo), where they develop their intense color pigments and dense aromas particularly well. After harvest, the grapes are largely destemmed and fermented in shallow stainless steel tanks on the must, regularly immersing the marc cake to extract as much of the characteristic deep red color and powerful fruity aromas from the berry skins as possible. As soon as around half the sugar has been converted into alcohol, wine distillate is added to stop fermentation. This ensures that both the high alcohol content and the desired natural residual sugar content are preserved. The wines age for around three years in oak barrels, developing their gentle fullness without losing any of their juicy freshness and fruitiness. Taylor's fine ruby is bottled for immediate consumption.residual sugar:103.1 / acidity:4.13 allergene:enthält sulfite
