The winemaker

The Lavradores collective Feiroria was established in 2000. Initially, 15 producers have joined together to highlight the wines of the Douro region of Portugal. They want to offer a complete range reflecting the diversity of altitudes and soils that create diversity of soils of the region. The grapes come from 19 Quintas (farms) different in order to best represent the different specificities of the different terroirs. Quinta Terreiro example is found in the sub-region of Baixo Corgo, Quinta do Cotorinho in the sub-region of Cima Corgo, or Quinta de Tralhariz, in the Douro Superior sub-region. Thus, a multitude of grape varieties used. for example include: Alvarelhao, Tinta Amarela, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cao, Touriga Franca, Tourica Nacional Boal, Codega, Gouveio, Malvasia, Sauvignon Blanc and Viosinho. Today, the total vineyard Lavradores Feitoria cooperative representing over 600 hectares! The winemakers decided to collectivize their equipment, allowing them to have high-tech tools to produce some of the best wines of the region. The ambition of Labradors Feitora is to unite different tastes, different experiences, old or young, viticulture to marketing.
