In a few words ...

Pommard is one of the most famous communes on the Côte de Beaune and is renowned for its red wines. The soils are brown/red, rich in hard piedmont limestone, and yield some of the most robust, tannic wines in Burgundy. They are more powerful than their Beaune neighbors and are often referred to as masculine wines.

A Pommard that ranks among the greats: floral and fruity notes. Silky tannins. A wine that transports you!

One of Bichot's finest appellations, this Pommard is bluishly rich, and should be cellared a little longer for further evolution.

This highly acclaimed wine did not disappoint, and was a real pleasure to drink with good meat. To be left to age, however.

Very solid tannic structure, woodiness still in the process of blending with great aromatic complexity: ageing potential over several decades, wait in the cellar for a few more years.
