Clos de la Commaraine is a vineyard of almost 4 hectares, facing east, against the village. The soil is deep and well-drained on the surface, with part of a spring in the subsoil. There are many pebbles. Pommard 1er Cru "Clos de la Commaraine" is a rich wine, quite typical of Pommard, with its masculinity, depth and aromatic tension in its youth, but which quickly gains in delicacy (3 to 4 years). A wine for laying down.
