From an exceptional 1.44-hectare parcel bordered by a stone wall at the top, the Pommard 1er Cru "Les Jarollières" cuvée from Domaine de la Pousse d'Or is a fine ambassador for its terroir and, more generally, for its appellation. Benefiting from a pleasant eastern exposure - providing plenty of sunshine - and limestone-rich, fairly clayey soils, the vines produce a racy wine that brings out the richness of the pinot noir grape. the quality of the 2022 vintage is exceptional in burgundy. Domaine de la pousse d'or's cuvée pommard 1er cru les jarollières has a beautiful, intense color that gives way to lovely aromatic complexity. Spicy notes combine with hints of wood to create an intense mouthfeel. Dominated by red fruit, it is an example of balance.
