L'echiquier des VinsEstimated delivery between 7 and May 10,
The second wine of Château Cos d'Estournel, it is produced from the vine to the cellar with the same care and essentially the same means as the grand vin, but from the youngest vines. After rigorous sorting, vinification is carried out on a parcel-by-parcel basis in the new gravity-fed winery, using 72 temperature-controlled stainless steel vats ranging from 19 to 155 hl. Aged for 12 months in sta... ve-wood oak barrels. James Suckling (93-94) This wine is made from several grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The result is a balanced, voluptuous wine. On tasting, aromas of crème de cassis, black fruit, violet and hints of tea seduce the palate. A wine for pleasure, Les Pagodes de Cos is appreciated when shared in a convivial atmosphere. Read more

"The color is violet and the nose is on black fruits. The palate has good density, supple tannins, a charming woody touch and a slight hollow. A lovely Pagodes de Cos."
