This wine is dense and highly aromatic. A fine balance between fruit and tannins. It's a search for fruit purity according to the principles of jules chauvet, a "pure origin" wine with no chemical additives. The nose reveals fragrances of red fruits, spices and ripe peppers. On the palate, the attack is frank and fresh. Like the other wines in the range, nuit d'ivresse 2018 is highly digestible and well-balanced. Supple tannins give way to vegetal notes on an elegant, persistent finish.
