Fontenelles EarlEstimated delivery between Nov 29, and Dec 3,
Opulent and well-balanced, Notre Dame is vinified in vats, partly with whole grapes (carbonic maceration), partly with successive layers of Syrah and Grenache. With its brilliant purple color and purplish tints, already displaying all the power of a southern terroir, Cuvée Notre-Dame reveals lovely fruit with hints of strawberry, blackberry and cooked fruit, as well as freshness with aromas of blackcurrant, pine needles... The palate is full and rich, yet fine and elegant, with good length and supple, silky tannins. A true personality, to match a tasty red meat. Its finesse and fruitiness will also suit poultry, provided it's tasty. Serve decanted at room temperature. Syrah 55% Grenache noir 25 10% Carignan Mourvèdre Vieilles vignes 10%
