The winemaker

Matt Thomson and David Gleave met in Italy during the 1994 harvest One is winemaker and one wine importer in the world in London, and both share the conviction that New Zealand will soon be a large country Pinot Noir. In 2000, Matt Thompson prospect the Marlborough region and is an ideal site for his project. David Gleave joined and they founded with two other partners Delta Vineyard buying 40 hectares will be planted exclusively with Pinot Noir. The name "Delta" refers to the shape of the landscape and the vineyards that evokes the Greek letter. Delta is now mostly synonymous with fine Pinot Noir, fine and firm, in a style that belongs to New Zealand.
