This is one of the greatest terroirs of the Côte de Nuits. Situated on a fault line overlooking Clos de Vougeot and adjoining Combe d'Orveau. The southeast-facing Musigny enjoys a confined, sunny microclimate. Its thin, light soil with a high proportion of stones, guaranteeing good drainage, reinforces this impression of warmth. The grapes are always swollen with sunshine and at ideal ripeness, giving birth to a velvety nectar with floral notes of violets and great persistence on the palate.

Dark ruby red with intense violet highlights.
