    The famous Château Mouton Rothschild is undeniably one of the greatest Bordeaux wines. It is the only estate to have had its classification revised in 1973, after a veritable battle: from 2nd Cru Classé, the estate rose to the ultimate rank of 1st.

    Appearance

    Dense, dark garnet color, drawing on purple in its youth.

    Aroma

    The bouquet consists of black and red fruits, roasting, licorice and leather.

    The appellation Pauillac is part of the region of Bordeaux from France which include Château Mouton Rothschild and its 96 cuvées. Spread over 80% red wines, but also 11% white wines, 9% rosé, this region is 6 million hectolitres per yer (80% red wines + white wines (dry, sweet and fortified), clairet and crémant rosés).
