Founded at the turn of the century, the family business has been handed down from father to son for more than three generations, and enjoys a privileged location in the heart of the Beaujolais vineyards, and one of its jewels, the Morgon cru. Returning to the domaine in January 2005, Mathieu Lapierre continues the tradition of natural wines initiated by his peers and contributes to the estate's development. The estate's vines, cultivated organically since 1981, have an average age of 60 and extend over 13 hectares in the commune of villé-morgon, including 2 on the côte du py. The cultivation techniques used preserve the biological life of the soil, while improving the rooting of the vines and their ability to absorb trace elements, which are factors in the typicity and flavour of the crus.
