Le clos des vignes du maynes belonged to five generations of farmers before being bought by pierre and jeanne guillot in 1952. The vineyard has never used chemicals and has always been cultivated with the greatest respect for the land. From the outset, the family decided to grow their wines organically, without chemicals, weedkillers, insecticides or sulfur. The subsoil is composed of hard limestone found throughout Burgundy. The soil contains 50 cm to 1 m of clay-limestone. These clayey silts colluvium on an alteration of pure silts, very calcareous and rich in silica, give the wines a beautiful minerality. This is a lively, refreshing Mâcon with notes of white flowers on the first nose, followed by exotic notes. An organic and natural terroir wine.
