This Merlot wine comes from Lieu-Dit Coudrat, in the commune of Campugnan. The name comes from coudrier, a tree in the hazelnut family. The particularly high density of the clay-gravel soils in this area has the effect of slowing down root development and limiting the vine's hydration potential, resulting in a wine of exceptional concentration.
