Produced from grapes grown on the terroirs to the west of the Sancerre vineyards, these Kimmeridgian soils (140-145m) are composed of clay at depth and flat white stones at the surface. The name "terres blanches" comes from the fact that these white stones cover the soils, giving the impression of being "white". This terroir produces rich, complex wines perfect for lovers of great white wines.
