    Vinification in wooden and small-capacity cement vats. Cold pre-fermentation maceration (8°C). Manual punching down. Alcoholic fermentation at low temperature (28°C). Maceration from 25 to 32 days. Aged in barrels for 16 months, including 30% new barrels.

    Appearance

    Intense ruby to garnet color.

    Aroma

    Notes of black fruit with blackcurrant and blackberry, followed by empyreumatic scents that vary between vanilla and roasting.

    Marked by a touch of oak and hints of sweet spices, these full-bodied reds are young. After a few years' cellaring, the tannins mellow.
