Made from grapes grown on gravelly plots near the Gironde estuary, Les Griffons de Pichon Baron is distinguished by its pure, upright character. Intense crimson in color, this wine tastes both fresh and invigorating. The nose offers black fruit aromas followed by spicier notes. There are two possible ways to enjoy this wine: enjoy it now or wait more than 20 years.

This is an expressive wine, with a very Medoc character, which will go perfectly with fine meat. Black fruit, spices, still some hints of ageing. Good balance, good finish. No doubt this is a good wine, which will tell more in 5 or 7 years.
