Les Angelots, before being a wine, is the name of a 138-acre parcel planted not far from Château Angélus, from which it probably takes its name. It was acquired in the mid-2000s by Michel Gracia, who bought it from Château Lucia. This parcel offers the Merlot and Cabernet Franc of this cuvée a gravelly terroir marked by iron dross, with the first grape variety largely dominating the proceedings.
