The second wine of Château Rouget, Le Carillon de Rouget is made from a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats, followed by 14 months of barrel ageing. From a clay terroir in the Pomerol appellation, this wine is distinguished by its roundness and gourmet character. Red and black fruit aromas, well-melted tannins and a velvety red color make Le Carillon de Rouget an exceptional wine. It goes very well with beef, but can also be enjoyed with any meat in sauce.

very well matured and structured, mellow tannins, persistent aromas, good length on the palate, a nectar to be tasted absolutely!
