The Merlot grapes are superbly balanced, fragrant and vinous. They bring opulence and roundness, defining the true style of Château Le Bon Pasteur. The Cabernet Francs stand out for their exceptional quality. They bring delicacy, persistence and a rare sparkle to the wine.
"Superb on the eye, very present on the nose, this is a powerful, deep wine. The barrel is still present, revealing a beautiful grape. The candied fruit blossoms on the palate, remarkable for its generosity and roundness, supported by tight, mocha-flavored tannins. The style of a great Pomerol de garde".

The Pomerol's dress is most often dark ruby and purple hues in its youth and an appearance of brick hues with aging.
