Château yvonne is located in the heart of the village of parnay, just a stone's throw from the river loire. The village of parnay has been dedicated to winegrowing since the Middle Ages, thanks to the rise of the abbey of fontevraud. The 15th-century dwelling remained a mystery until the French Revolution. In 1813, a winemaker took up residence here, followed by a succession of winemakers. In 1997, a passionate couple, yvonne and jean-françois lamunière, moved in and recreated the vineyard with the help of françoise foucault. The estate is named "Château Yvonne". In 2007, Mathieu Vallée took over the estate. He keeps the name château yvonne as a tribute to the titanic work of these passionate people. The history of château yvonne is renewed... the son of a winemaker, mathieu grew up on the right bank of the loire, in st nicolas de bourgueil. His vocation came late, at the age of 30. He gave up his engineering career to devote himself to winemaking. This change of direction was not without its worries, and his arrival at Château Yvonne was discreet. Touch by touch, he will refine the estate's wines in his own image, giving them character and the best of himself. Château yvonne has been organically farmed since 1997. The link between
