Châteauneuf Du Pape Réserve XV XVI XVII comes mainly from the magical 2016 vintage with smaller quantities from 2015 and 2017. It offers an extraordinary nose of cassis, ground pepper, garrigue and crushed violets. Rich, full-bodied and incredibly seamless, with a stacked mid-palate, this is a brilliant Châteauneuf du Pape through and through. It's great now, but will keep for over 15 years.

On the palate, black olives add to the leather notes already perceptible on the nose. A well-structured wine with silky tannins. Well-balanced with a certain freshness and good length. A superb Châteauneuf, round and voluptuous!

Châteauneuf-du-Pape
The appellation Châteauneuf-du-Pape is part of the region of Vallée du Rhône from France which include Xavier Vignon and its 15 cuvées. Spread over The Rhone Valley and its rich, complex terroirs. The region is divided into two distinct subregions: Northern Rhone (known as Rhône Septentrional) and Southern Rhone (Rhône Méridional). In the former we find strong wines in beautiful colours with warm, spicy notes, produced by vineyards that stretch 4,700 ha along the Rhone. The latter, with an area of 71,000 ha, is much more important, and this is evident of course in its annual production of red, rosé and white wines quite unlike those of the Northern Rhone., this region is 3 million hectolitres per year of red wines, rosés, dry and sparkling white wines, and natural sweet wine..
