I may be a Bordeaux, but I wasn't born in a château! No great family story to tell, no majestic, mysterious cellar to show. You think I'm ill-bred? Rest assured, I've inherited all the elegance of the great Bordeaux wines. I've been carefully blended according to the rules of the art. Constant in my aromas, I know the perfect pairings, so you can have complete confidence in me. I live with the times, taking a malicious pleasure in moving the lines and dusting off the landscape, I must admit. I have character, I'm authentic, with values and great qualities. I also know how to remain accessible and uncomplicated. I like to think I represent my region and my generation, but without any pretension. My strength? Knowing how to adapt, no matter what the table or occasion, by bringing my colors, my flavors and my good humor. I know the best pairings and I love to surprise. Am I unusual? Yes, definitely! Totally. I'm open-minded and accessible, without compromising on quality. People say tradition? My answer is yes, but in a relaxed way. Hands in pockets and bow tie. I'm not the vin de garde that some connoisseurs are looking for, but I'm certainly not ashamed of it! I prefer to build a relationship of trust with connoisseurs of good things: those who like to live in the moment! My charisma is natural, I don't know how to cheat. The grapes, picked when perfectly ripe, are destemmed (separation of the green part from the grapes) and lightly crushed. Maceration lasts from 15 days to 3 weeks, with controlled temperatures adapted to the type of grapes harvested in different vats. Once the wine has reached the right balance in terms of taste, it is run off after a controlled tasting. Aging continues for 6 to 12 months in vats.
Aroma
The nose is deep and bewitching, blending black fruit soup with a powerful roasted aroma.
Taste
The full-bodied, fleshy palate, both fruity and toasty, unfurls a classic palette of cherry, black plum and blackberry, combined with a toasty, vanilla heart. Notes of mocha and toast shape a long finish.
