Pinot Noir flourishes on soils of limestone scree and marl formations to produce this Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Beaune "La Perrière". Once the grapes have reached optimum ripeness, they are harvested by hand. They are then vinified in temperature-controlled vats for 13 days, and aged for 10 months in French oak barrels. The result is a fruity cuvée dominated by raspberry and morello cherry. The palate is pleasantly fresh, balanced by fine, round tannins.
