The Maison Delas vineyard covers a surface area of 30 hectares in several Rhone Valley appellations.
Condrieu is a white wine rich in alcohol, full-bodied and supple, yet fresh. Very fragrant, it exhales floral aromas such as violets, and notes of apricot. Its sole grape variety is Viognier.
1995 was a very fine summer. In September, however, growers thought it would be a repeat of 1994. Rain arrived on the 7th, but it was sparse and concentrated, so there was no dilution effect, especially as the vines were suffering from drought. Fine weather returned on September 17.
