On the edge of the famous Pomerol plateau, Château La Fleur de Boüard is the flagship of the Lalande-de-Pomerol satellite appellation, thanks to the ambitious work of Hubert de Boüard de Laforest, and now his daughter Coralie, who has been the Cru's director since 2014. She applies the same attentive care as at the other family estate, Château Angélus in Saint-Emilion. Not to mention the benefits of a state-of-the-art gravity-fed vat room. The 33 hectares of vines are planted to 80% Merlot, with a complement of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. James Suckling ( 93 ) / A. Galloni - Vinous : ( 93 )
"Château La Fleur de Boüard embodies the brilliant blossoming of the seed planted by the de Boüard family in this vineyard in 1998. Thanks to the innovative know-how of Hubert and Coralie, accompanied by Philippe Nunes, Technical Director, Château La Fleur de Boüard is now blossoming and establishing itself as the pillar of the Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation."
