From an ideally drained, gravelly plateau in the heart of the Gironde, Dame de Montrose is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. This optimal blend justifies its intense, dark color, racy nose and harmonious tannins. On the palate, Dame de Montrose is full-bodied and open, with aromas of ripe fruit. Aged for 12 months, this wine is destined for all those who appreciate exceptional Médocs. Made from the same vineyards and with the same rigor as the grand vin, La Dame de Montrose, from a second selection, is a predominantly Merlot wine, supple and silky. Its pronounced red fruit aromas are another expression of the terroir in a style all its own. J. Suckling : 91-92/100
