In a few words ...

audrey and anthony's winemaking adventure began in souvignargues in the gard department in 2013. Initially, due to a lack of space and therefore cellar space, they sold to the coop, but soon got the itch to make wine. In 2018, thanks to a helping hand from a winemaker in a small corner of the neighboring cellar, they set up shop. Still without a fixed cellar, but with plenty of desire - and clean grapes! - the couple made wine with three winemaking friends in the village. Both wanting to know what their work was all about, they were lucky enough to meet Thierry Forestier in 2018, who opened the doors of his cellar to them for a gentle start at his side; l'ange à la terre was born. domaine bartassou's l'ange à la terre cuvée comes from Grenache noir vines planted on sandstone terroirs in the hills above souvignargues. Harvested by hand, the grapes undergo a short 4-day semi-carbonic maceration with no added sulfites. The nose reveals delicious notes of fresh red berries, blackcurrant, raspberry and wild strawberry, with a hint of spice. The palate is juicy and crisp, with lovely aromas of black and red fruits.
